Anna Riitta and Fritz Fuchs Finding Aids

Anna Riitta and Fritz Fuchs Findings Aids are now available online.  Fritz Fuchs and his wife Anna Riitta were pioneers in the field of reproductive medicine.  There most important scientific study was the use of alchol to prevent premature labor.  Fritz Fuchs was a native of Denmark and Anna Riitta was a native of Finland.  The emigranted to the United States in 1965 when Fritz was appointed the chair/chief of the Department of Ob/Gyn at the medical center.  Anna Riitta was employed at the Population Council at Rockefeller University (later she was on the faculty of the Cornell University Medical College).
