Health Seminar - Macular Degeneration: How to Prevent It and How to Treat It

Age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) is a leading cause of vision loss in Americans over the age of 60.  ARMD currently affects more than 1.75 million individuals in the United States and is expected to increase to almost 3 million by 2020. 

Dr. Anton Orlin is a retina specialist who will tell us about our chances of developing the condition, what we can do if we are diagnosed with macular degeneration, and what treatments are available now and what might be available in the future to fight this debilitating condition.
