This App is limited to point-of-care tools.  Use AccessMedicine Web to view all other content.  To access other resources such as CaseFiles, AccessSurgery, etc. use the Access Product Umbrella site.

  1. Click AccessMedicine Web to register for a free MyAccess account. MyAccess account allows for login into all Access products.

  2. Download and launch the App then enter your MyAccess username and password.

Knovel ToGo

 

  1. Access Knovel and register for a free My Knovel account while the on-campus network.
  2. Download the My Knovel ToGo Mobile App.
  3. Log into Knovel from your PC and save a resource for downloading by clicking "Save to Mobile" in one of the two following ways.
  4. After step 3 your resources are saved to your My Knovel ToGo folder.
  5. Sign in to the My Knovel ToGo mobile app on your mobile device.
  6. While logged into Knovel on your PC, in the upper right click the ‘Welcome’ link, then click ‘Mobile License / Authentication’. Please note: The code is only valid for 10 minutes.
  7. Enter the code from your PC into the My Knovel ToGo Mobile App on your mobile device and tap 'Sign in'.
  8. You are now set up to use the My Knovel ToGo Mobile App and you can start downloading resources onto your device for offline reading.
  9. Download content to view offline - Once the app has synced with your My Knovel ToGo folder, there will be a list of saved titles.
  • Users can download up to 20 titles for offline usage at a time, with up to 20 titles total per month.
  • Downloaded content will only be accessible through the My Knovel ToGo app.
  • After your content has been downloaded, you can access it anytime for up to 30 days offline before coming back online.

Please note: You need to be online to authenticate, sync, download and access interactive content.

  1. While connected to the WCM/NYP network on campus or Cisco AnyConnect VPN off-campus, access Lexicomp Web

  2. If you are not on campus, use/install Cisco AnyConnect VPN on your desktop or mobile device.  Duo required to verify your identity
  3. locate and click “Mobile Access Codes” on Lexicomp Web then follow the instructions for your mobile device to download the App (links are above) and receive the subscription authorization code. You will be required to create an account if you are new or login to an existing account to add/update the subscription authorization code

  4. Download and launch the App then enter your email and password

Note: Codes will change periodically/annually.

  1. Access UpToDate Web and click "Register" to create a free personal account.

  2. Download and launch the App then enter your UpToDate username and password.

VisualDx App

      

1. Use this link (https://www.visualdx.com/visualdx/7/?sso=nyp) to sign in to VisualDx web with your WCM or NYP CWID

2. You should be brought into VisualDx without the need for an additional username or password. Your email should appear in the upper top right corner of the website indicating that your access was authenticated.

3. If you do not already have a VisualDx personal account, you will receive an email that your account has been automatically created and will allow you to set your password to access the mobile app. If you previously had a personal account using your institutional email, then you can skip the remaining steps and use the mobile app as you have been.

4. Download the VisualDx mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store

5. On your device, locate the VisualDx app and login with the username and password you created in Step 3.

Web of Science My Research Assistant App

Web of Science does allow roaming access to the platform. Users can access Web of Science from anywhere at any time using their Web of Science personalization email and password.

To use roaming, users must register their email on the Web of Science platform. To register:

1. Go to http://webofknowledge.com/ via EZproxy or an IP authenticated WCM computer.
2. Click Register at the top of the page.
3. Enter your email address, password, name, complete the Captcha and click on Register.  The system will prompt you if your email is already registered for Web of Science or other Clarivate products.
4. Web of Science will send a verification email to your inbox.  Click on "Verify email address" to activate your account.
5. Sign in with your email and roaming will become active.

To access Web of Science remotely outside of EZproxy, users can use the direct URL https://www.webofknowledge.com and then enter their Web of Science personalization account details under “Sign In."


Note: Users must login from an IP authenticated machine or device at least once every six(6) months to keep roaming active.
