Clinical Medical Librarian, Full Time (Posted 03/10/23)
In partnership with multiple stakeholders, the Full-time Clinical Medical Librarian (CML) provides biomedical research, information management, and instructional services to the clinical and academic communities of Weill Cornell Medicine, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and affiliates. The CML also supports the Myra Mahon Patient Resource Center (PRC). This position is embedded in the clinical practices of the institution and is responsible for leading outreach activities and training initiatives to increase the value of Library services to the Medical Center. This faculty position has a flexible hybrid schedule, with remote time complementing work on-site. Weill Cornell Medicine offers competitive benefits, including generous vacation time in addition to six research days per year. The CML reports to the Assistant Director, Clinical Services. e-Resources Librarian (Posted 02/27/23)
The Samuel J. Wood Library seeks a motivated, self-starting individual for its e-Resources Librarian position. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a team environment to manage the life cycle of the library’s electronic resources that are accessible across the Cornell University campuses and NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. This position is also responsible for the support, maintenance and implementation of the library’s broad range of systems including ExLibris’ Primo discovery/Alma ILS and EZproxy. In addition, maintaining the quality and accuracy of bibliographic and metadata records in various systems. The e-Resources Librarian works independently and uses critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems to efficiently maintain seamless access to support the research, care and teaching missions of Weill Cornell Medicine.
