Grant Writing Resources

The library offers several services geared towards supporting grant writing. Below is a list of some of the services we offer, but is not exhaustive. If are interested in having the library help out with any stage of a grant application but do not see your topic here, please reach out using the 'Contact Us' button on this page.

Brief Resource Descriptions: Snippets to include in grant applications detailing services offered by WCM

Government funding agency compliance support, including the following:

Publication Reporting: Using ReCiter, the Library maintains a database of known publications by WCM faculty, students, and staff. It currently contains 236,000+ authors on 155,000+ articles. While we do not offer self-service reporting or feedback, we will respond rapidly to requests (e.g., list of PMIDs for one or more individuals) or corrections. The Library is also available to assist in putting together T-32 Tables.

Software Support:

  • Scientific Software Hub: The Library provides information and access to software licensed for WCM use, or freely available. We also help groups who would like to share the licensing costs of specialized software
  • Bibliographic Management Tools: Discover which bibliographic tools The Library supports, along with how to access and use them.

Systematic Review Service: Collaborate with expert searchers to publish your systematic review. In addition to our resources and databases Weill Cornell Medical Library has knowledgeable staff to guide you through this evidence-based process

IACUC Protocol Support: Library staff are available to assist researchers in ensuring their protocol ‘Experimental Plan’ is easily understandable by IACUC reviewers and that every section contains the relevant and appropriate information.

Funding Resources: The Library can assist in connecting researchers with applicable grant funding opportunities
