The faculty and staff of the Weill Cornell Medical Library support work within the Weill Cornell community in a myriad of ways, both inside and outside the library walls.

From traditional services like class reserve, pre-publishing support, and manuscript preparation - to participating in clinical rounds and teaching first-year students evidence-based medicine - the library faculty and staff are committed to providing expert services, as well as access to the highest quality information.

Honor with Books - Give a Gift. Leave a Legacy.

The Honor with Books program is for those who wish to honor their loved ones, a colleague, professor or mentor, or special occasion, with a gift to the library. In these days of shrinking book budgets, your gift will help to ensure resources for future generations of library users. It will also remain as a lasting tribute to your loved one, whose name will appear inside the verso of a cherished library volume long after he or she has left these hallowed halls.

Background Information

Because privacy rights of individuals have recently been threatened by private and public institutions, the New York Library Association has taken the initiative to protect first amendment rights through adoption of an Association Policy on the Confidentiality of Library Records. Governor Cuomo of New York signed into law Chapter 112 of the Laws of 1988, which protects confidentiality of library records of users throughout New York State.

NLM Traveling Exhibitions

These exhibitions were developed and produced by the National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health, with research assistance from the Historical Society of Washington, D.C.
