Access to the Samuel J. Wood Library is restricted to faculty, students, and staff of the Medical College and Graduate School, as well as staff members of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and affiliated institutions.
New York State licensed, credentialed health professionals are eligible to pay for access through the Health Professionals Access Program. A yearly subscription to the HPA Program grants the subscriber an all-access pass to Library material and resources on the premises during the hours that the Library is open. Designated employees of participating HPA institutions may also apply.
All unaffiliated persons will be redirected to the New York Academy of Medicine.
Guests of patrons with access to the Samuel J. Wood Library must be accompanied by the patron at all times.
