Weill Cornell Alumni
Alumni of the Weill Cornell Medical College and the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences are extended access to the Samuel J. Wood Library, and may receive a library access dip card upon verification of their alumni status. WCM alumni are also eligible to access select offsite online resources. Cornell University Alumni
Alumni of Cornell University are extended access to the Samuel J. Wood Library. Eligible persons must register at the Library's SMARTDesk in order to verify alumni status through the Cornell Alumni Office. Once confirmed, you will be issued a dip card for entry into the Library.
Please note that alumni privileges do not include borrowing privileges, Interlibrary Services, TripSaver Requests, off-site access, or access to any of our affiliated institutions.
Center Alumni Council
Center Alumni Council members (CAC) are eligible for access and borrowing privileges at the Samuel J. Wood Library at Weill Cornell Medicine. A current CAC card or verification letter must be presented at the Library’s SmartDesk for entrance to the Library and all other services. Please contact the CAC for eligibility requirements and membership details.
Please note that CAC privileges do not include Interlibrary Services, TripSaver Requests, off-site access, or access to any of our affiliated institutions.
Health Professionals Access Program
New York State licensed, credentialed health professionals are eligible to pay for access through the Health Professionals Access Program. A yearly subscription to the HPA Program grants the subscriber an all-access pass to Library material and resources on the premises during the hours that the Library is open. Designated employees of participating HPA institutions may also apply.
Hospital for Special Surgery
Registered members of the HSS library can borrow physical items. Visitors will need their current institutional ID card for access and all other services.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Registered members of the MSK library can borrow physical items. Visitors will need their current, valid institutional ID card for access and all other services.
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital
Members of the following institutions can visit WCM as long as they present their ID when visiting, and may also borrow books and in-house library materials:

- NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital
- NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital
- NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital

Members of the following institutions can visit WCM as long as they present their ID when visiting, but do not have borrowing privileges:

The Rockefeller University
Registered members of the Rockefeller University Library can borrow physical items, take advantage of walk-in reference consultation services, and attend on-site and remote library workshops. Visitors will need their current, valid institutional ID card for access and all other services.
Visitors from Other Cornell Campuses
Visitors from any Cornell campus (including Cornell University in Ithaca, Cornell Tech, and WCM-Qatar) may access the Samuel J. Wood Library upon presentation of valid institutional ID. For more information on accessible resources, please visit Cornell University Visitors.
