There are two different ways to access images:
Public Collection: The Public Collection is open to everyone. It includes over 8,000 images from 1771 to 1976 from the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, as well as predecessor institutions and affiliated individuals.
Institutional Collection: The Institutional Collection is only available for NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine affiliates. This collection contains an additional 5,000 images that are not visible in the Public Collection and include images up to the 1990s. Internal users are encouraged to search both the Public and Institutional Collections.
