Idiopathic Neuropathy: What It Is, and What You Can Do About It

In this talk, Dr. Norman Latov will speak from his over 40 years of experience in caring for and advocating for people with neuropathy. He will describe how the peripheral nerves work, explain the symptoms of neuropathy, review its different causes and types, and discuss treatment options.

Norman Latov, M.D., Ph.D., is a professor of neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine, specializing in peripheral neuropathy. Dr. Latov’s book, "Explaining Neuropathy; Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment, or When the Pain Won’t Stop" was written with the aim of demystifying the illness for patients and their families and friends.
